Manufacturing and Logistics courses are designed with industry guidance to prepare students to enter the workforce of Manufacturing and Logistics. Programs consist of relevant lectures, discussions, assessments, and hands-on lab opportunities. Topics range from Industry Safety, Electric & Internal Combustion-Forklift Operation, Mechanical & Electrical-Industrial Maintenance, and more. Students will also obtain information related to registered apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
Program Learning Outcomes
Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) are statements of the kind of learning a program hopes a student will achieve. The PLOs describe the knowledge, skills, problem-solving, communication, and values that apply to all certificates and/or degrees within that program.
Upon completion of this program, students should be able to:
- Students completing this certificate will be prepared to enter the workforce as a Class I, II, or III certified forklift operator upon completing the course and passing the exam.
- Students completing this certificate will be prepared to enter the workforce as a Class IV and V certified forklift operator upon completing the course and passing the exam.
