Periodically the programs of study (degrees and certificates) at Victor Valley College are reviewed and sometimes it is necessary to discontinue a program of study. The procedures for this process are outlined in VVCD Administrative Procedure 4021 – Process for Program Discontinuance. When a program of study is discontinued, the catalog will note the final academic year that the program of study was offered. Students declared in these programs of study on or before the final academic year have catalog rights established by VVCD Administrative Procedure 4027 – Catalog Rights. The maximum timeframe that catalog rights extend is six years. The college will ensure that students enrolled in these degree and certificate programs of study by the given academic years indicated below will be given a reasonable timeframe to complete the requirements.
