General Physical Sciences includes a number of scientific courses which often encompass a number of related disciplines. They are intended to serve as introductory level general education courses while also providing a basis for future, more advanced study in each of their respective fields.

Associate Degree
No associate degree offered with a major in Physical Sciences. Physical Science courses may be used to fulfill requirements for an Associate in Science degree with a major in Math/Science or Liberal Arts. See specific listings for requirements in these majors. PSCI 138 Cooperative Education Physical Science (Cooperative Education) may be used for elective credit, but may not be used to fulfill major requirements.

This course is designed for students who are cross-training at their current worksite for upward mobility or possible career changes, as well as those looking for entry-level occupational training through work-based learning experiences.
