- Students who have completed three or more years of high school Spanish in the last five years with a grade of B or better may enroll in Spanish 102.
- Native Spanish speakers are highly encouraged to enroll in SPAN 110. However, native Spanish speakers who have completed three or more years of high school Spanish in the last five years, with a grade of a B or better, may enroll in SPAN 111.
- Native Spanish speakers who have completed four years of high school Spanish in the last 5 years, with a grade of a B or better, may enroll in Spanish 103.
