Water Distribution Level I & II Certificate of Completion for ENVT 020 and ENVT 021 will provide a foundation for continued professional development and career advancement in the public utilities sector. Students will gain the technical skills and regulatory knowledge required to operate and maintain a potable water distribution system in compliance with state and federal standards. The program emphasizes safety, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency. Through lectures, hands-on experiences, and simulated fieldwork, students will develop the competencies needed to support public health and environmental protection. Upon completion, students will be prepared to take the SWRCB Grade 1 and Grade II Water Distribution Operator Certification exams and pursue employment in municipal utilities, at private water companies, or industrial facilities.
