The Basic Skills program offers a sequence of noncredit courses to provide instruction for individuals in elementary and secondary-level reading, writing, computation, and problem-solving skills in order to assist them in achieving their academic, vocational, and personal goals. Upon successful completion of the basic skills program, the student will be able to address the content and proficiency at levels through the twelfth grade, as well as prepares students to take a high school equivalency test.
For English, students should enroll in BSKL 3 Essential Reading and Writing, (0 units).
For Math, students should enroll in BSKL 9 Essential Mathematics, (0 units).
For GED preparation, students should enroll in BSKL 0100 High School Equivalency Test Preparation, (0 units).
