For over 60 years, Victor Valley College has strived to serve our students by offering excellence in higher education. VVC is always looking forward with new and innovative programs, facilities, and services to improve the student experience. VVC provides student support services, everything you need to get started, which can be found in our beautiful, updated Student Services Center, truly a “One-Stop” location for all your needs in admissions, counseling, financial aid, and many other resources.
Whether you are a first-year student in one of our transfer degree programs or enrolled in one of our career or vocational programs, we are here to assist you in your journey. We believe that education is the foundation to building strong families, resilient communities, and a skilled workforce. We want you to experience our high-quality academic programs, as well as, have the opportunity to explore nearly 20 student clubs that provide formal and informal forums for areas of special interest. You are also encouraged to be active in your student government which is an integral part of VVC’s participatory governance process.
VVC is the 2023 recipient of the John W. Rice Award in Student Success. The college was selected by the California Community Colleges Board of Governors to receive the award because of our relentless commitment to setting the standard in advancing equitable placement goals and objectives for all students. Out of all 116 community colleges statewide, VVC leads the way in seeing the greatest improvements in all students completing gateway transfer-level English and math. Our staff stays committed to make your experience at Victor Valley College the most productive it can be. VVC’s distinguished faculty hold credentials from many of the country’s leading colleges and universities. We take pride knowing that our faculty come to us from many diverse backgrounds and experiences, yet they share one very important trait – a commitment to excellence in teaching and Student Success.
VVC continues to remain the educational hub for the High Desert, expanding and growing our campus. Soon to open are a new multicultural center for our diverse student body, new Rams Cafe, state-of-the-art sports stadium, and an educational event center which will serve as an exhibition hall for seminars, important meetings, special events and conventions.
